While Pakistan Army battles heavily armed and fortified extremists in Swat, Buner, and nearby federally administered tribal agencies, the need for swift action has arisen elsewhere. The threat of terrorism Pakistan faces today does not emanate from the above-mentioned areas. The so called Pakistani Taliban are simply a symptom of a much larger and deeper problem.
